How RD Classes makes Accountancy simple

Accountancy has a reputation for being a subject of formats and rules. At RD Classes we teach it as a subject of reasons. Here is what that looks like in a normal week.

Concept first

Every topic starts with the idea behind it, explained with everyday examples. A partner who withdraws money from the firm is charged interest because the firm lost the use of that money. Once that is clear, the formula for interest on drawings is not something to memorise — it is common sense written down.

Then the format

Only after the concept is clear do we move to the format: the journal entry, the ledger account, the statement. Each format is practised until it can be written without looking.

Then questions of rising difficulty

Every chapter moves from basic questions to comprehensive ones and finally to the "extraordinary" and HOTS questions that separate 90 from 100. You can see this structure in our recorded lectures, where each chapter ends with comprehensive questions.

Then a test

Weekly tests show exactly where marks are being lost. Performance is tracked, and doubts that show up in a test are cleared in the next doubt session.

Small batches, two languages

Batches are kept small so that every student is asked, checked and corrected. Concepts are explained in Hindi and English so that language is never the barrier.

Nothing is ever missed

Every class is recorded and available in the RD Classes student portal. A student who is ill, travelling or simply confused can watch the class again.
